Job summary

PT. Nasional Farindo Jaya is seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead and oversee production and technical functions at the Surabaya facility.

You will drive efficient, safe operations, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to sustain performance and cost‑effective improvements. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5–8 years in manufacturing with supervisory experience, and is willing to work on-site in Surabaya.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing/plant operations with supervisory/managerial roles.
• Maximum age 45 years.
• Strong experience in Production Management and Engineering/Technical Management.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment; plastic manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of production processes, machinery, maintenance, and efficiency.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze operational data and develop improvement plans.
• Target-oriented, disciplined, and capable of managing multiple teams.
• WFO in Surabaya.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the overall plant operations, including Production and Technical/Engineering functions.
• Ensure production activities run efficiently, safely, and according to targets and standards.
• Monitor production performance, productivity, quality, downtime, and efficiency.
• Coordinate with Production and Technical teams for smooth daily operations.
• Ensure availability, reliability, and maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Identify operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and monitor operational plans, targets, and KPIs for Production and Technical teams.
• Improve production processes, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and regulations.
• Coordinate with HR, PPIC, Quality, Warehouse, and Finance to support operations.
• Prepare and report plant performance, issues, and improvement plans to Director/Management.
