Job summary

Indesso in Indonesia is seeking a senior Production Manager to lead planning, execution, and control across our Cileungsi (Bogor, West Java) plant. You will drive production targets for quality, quantity, delivery, and machine utilization, while optimizing schedules and resources.

The role requires 8–12 years in manufacturing, strong leadership, and fluency in English. You will coordinate with QA, implement continuous improvements, and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in manufacturing production operations, preferably within the food ingredient industry with thermal processing.
• Proven leadership experience at managerial level in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Placement in Cileungsi plant, Bogor, West Java.

Key Responsibilities

Production Performance Management

• Manage production planning, execution, and control to achieve targets for quality, quantity, delivery, and machine utilization.

• Ensure production schedules are effective and optimize production capacity and resources.

Quality Assurance & Process Improvement

• Ensure product quality standards and specifications are consistently achieved in coordination with the Quality function.

• Analyze production performance to identify root causes, quality issues, and opportunities for improvement.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and achieve quality targets.

Process Technology & Innovation Management

• Manage the development and control of production process technology, including process design and new product introduction.

• Optimize production processes throughout the product life cycle to improve efficiency and quality consistency.

• Lead and control Operational Qualification (OQ) and Product Qualification (PQ) activities for new installations or processes.

Quality, Food Safety & Compliance

• Lead the implementation and control of quality and food safety management systems in accordance with applicable standards.

• Ensure SOPs and operational procedures are consistently implemented across production activities.

• Drive continuous improvement of management systems in accordance with standards such as FSSC 22000, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Having 8-12 years of experience in manufacturing production operations, preferably within the food ingredient industry with experience in thermal processing, including: Emulsion sauce, Water-based sauce, Reactor processes.

• Proven leadership experience at managerial level in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills.

• Accountable, and able to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
