Job summary

PT JAPFA FOOD INDONESIA (WONOAYU) seeks a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee daily production, guide staff, and ensure safety and quality standards. You will coordinate with maintenance, production planning, and QC to optimize line performance and shift handovers.

Ideal candidates bring a related bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Husbandry, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of supervisor-level experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in feedmill, food processing, or poultry industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to manage a diverse production team.
• Solid understanding of production planning, inventory control, and manufacturing safety standards (K3, HACCP, or GMP).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with proactive troubleshooting and process optimization.
• Willingness to work in shifts and be placed at PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk's operational sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet volume, quality, and delivery deadlines.
• Lead, train, and motivate production operators and staff with adherence to safety protocols and SOPs.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime and resolve issues.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify bottlenecks, minimize waste, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, inventory records, and shift handovers for management.
• Enforce compliance with occupational health and safety (K3), food safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to investigate deviations and implement preventive measures.
