Job summary

PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities at our East Java sites. The role emphasizes leading a diverse team, ensuring safety, and maintaining quality and delivery standards.

You will coordinate with maintenance, QA, and planning to minimize downtime, address bottlenecks, and generate accurate shift reports. This position requires willingness to work in shifts and be placed at Japfa operational sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Husbandry, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of supervisor-level experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in feedmill, food processing, or poultry industry.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with ability to manage and motivate a diverse production team.
• Solid understanding of production planning, inventory control, and manufacturing safety standards (K3, HACCP, or GMP).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with proactive approach to troubleshooting and process optimization.
• Willingness to work in shifts and be placed at PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk's operational sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet scheduled volume, quality, and delivery deadlines.
• Lead, train, and motivate production operators and staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, SOPs, and company policies.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime and resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct regular inspections of the production line to identify bottlenecks, minimize waste, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, inventory records, and shift handovers for management review.
• Enforce compliance with occupational health and safety (K3) regulations, food safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to investigate product deviations and implement preventive measures.
