Job summary

PT Vinfast Automobile Indonesia is seeking an experienced Production Group Leader to oversee operations across General Assembly, Body Shop, Paint Shop, and Stamping Shop in West Java (Subang area). The role focuses on leading daily production, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time delivery, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering/Manufacturing, with 5+ years of production leadership experience, preferably in automotive

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in production with leadership experience.
• Experience in Automotive General Assembly, Body Shop, Paint Shop or Stamping preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality and manpower management.
• Good leadership, problem-solving and communication skills; English proficiency required.
• Willing to work 6 days with shift system.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Production Group Leader to join our Manufacturing team, supporting production operations across General Assembly, Body Shop, Paint Shop, and Stamping Shop.

Key responsibilities

Lead daily production activities and manage manpower within the assigned shop.

Monitor production targets, productivity, quality, and delivery performance.

Ensure production processes are carried out according to SOP, work instructions, and quality standards.

Identify production issues and coordinate with related departments for timely countermeasures.

Monitor manpower utilization and ensure effective shift operations.

Ensure safety, 5S, and production standards are properly implemented.

About you

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in production, preferably with leadership experience.

Experience in Automotive General Assembly, Body Shop, Paint Shop, or Stamping is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of production processes, quality, and manpower management.

Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good command of English, both spoken and written (is a must)

Willing to work 6 days with shift system.
