Job summary

Sun Life Indonesia is seeking an experienced product professional to lead life insurance product development and governance. You will collaborate with Distribution, Marketing, and Compliance to ensure timely delivery of initiatives and successful launches.

The role requires deep knowledge of life insurance products, market dynamics, and stakeholder management, with English proficiency and strong analytical skills. Indonesia-based with global support and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and 5 years in life insurance with at least 2 years in product development/management/marketing.
• Holding a Certificate of Life Insurance (CLI) or equivalent certification.
• Strong understanding of life insurance products, customer needs and market dynamics.
• Experience with product development processes including design, pricing, regulatory aspects and launches.
• Capability to translate market research into product strategies and business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all product initiatives are delivered on the product timeline with marketing materials.
• Propose discussions for new initiatives covering propositioning and value.
• Moderate Product Development Governance meetings with stakeholders.
• Prepare materials for discussions with Distribution and Marketing.
• Support OJK submissions and feedback for products.
• Prepare slide materials for Training to Trainer and Operations teams.
• Lead socialization of product.
• Provide product performance reports after launch.
• Analyze and compare market insurance products.
• Lead development for the company website.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or other relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the life insurance industry, including at least 2 years of experience in product development, product management, or product marketing.
• Hold a valid Certificate of Life Insurance (CLI) or equivalent insurance certification
• Strong understanding of life insurance products, customer needs, and market dynamics.
• Proven knowledge of insurance product development processes, including product design, pricing considerations, regulatory requirements, and product launch activities.
• Proficient in conducting market research and translating insights into product strategies and business recommendations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and emerging technologies, including AI-based tools, to support product innovation and decision-making.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with distribution channels, actuarial, compliance, operations, and marketing teams.
• Familiarity with insurance regulations and product approval processes in Indonesia.
