Job summary

Sun Life Financial Indonesia is seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in life insurance and product development. You will drive product initiatives from concept through launch, work with Distribution and Marketing teams, and provide data-driven insights to shape strategy.

The role requires at least 5 years in life insurance product development or product marketing, a CLI or equivalent certification, and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with strong analytical skills.
• Proven knowledge of insurance product development and market dynamics.
• Experience in product management or product marketing in life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure initiatives are delivered based on product timelines and marketing materials.
• Propose and discuss new product initiatives including value and marketing aspects.
• Moderate Product Development Governance meetings with related parties.
• Prepare materials for discussions with Distribution and Marketing Teams.
• Support OJK submission and feedback for products.
• Prepare training materials for Trainers and Operations Teams.
• Lead product socialization and post-launch performance reporting.
• Analyze and compare market insurance products.
• Lead development of company website.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Ensure all product initiatives are delivered based on product timeline & preparation marketing materials related to new initiatives product
• Propose & discussion for new initiatives product related propositioning, value & marketing sides
• Moderator Product Development Governance meeting with related parties
• Preparation materials for discussion product with Distribution & Marketing Team

• Preparation slides material for Training to Trainer & Training to Operations Team

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or other relevant disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the life insurance industry, including at least 2 years of experience in product development, product management, or product marketing
• Hold a valid Certificate of Life Insurance (CLI) or equivalent insurance certification
• Strong understanding of life insurance products, customer needs, and market dynamics
• Proven knowledge of insurance product development processes, including product design, pricing considerations, regulatory requirements, and product launch activities
• Proficient in conducting market research and translating insights into product strategies and business recommendations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and emerging technologies, including AI-based tools, to support product innovation and decision-making
• Good command of both written and spoken English
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with distribution channels, actuarial, compliance, operations, and marketing teams
• Familiarity with insurance regulations and product approval processes in Indonesia
