Job summary

Peoplyee in Indonesia is seeking an experienced procurement leader to manage and supervise a purchasing team and oversee end-to-end procurement activities.

You will handle sourcing of raw materials, chemicals, solvents, and packaging, build supplier relationships, and negotiate terms to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

This role requires strong knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance. Location: Cikarang, Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing and supervising a purchasing or procurement team.
• Experience in end-to-end procurement in manufacturing or chemical industry.
• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, documentation, and transaction procedures.
• Driver licence not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the purchasing team to ensure efficient and effective procurement operations.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement activities, including purchasing plans, supplier selection, order placement, and fulfillment.
• Manage the procurement of raw materials, chemicals, solvents, packaging materials, and other operational supplies.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Negotiate competitive prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other purchasing conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance and promptly resolve issues related to quality, pricing, or delivery.
• Ensure compliance with import and export regulations, customs procedures, and relevant trade documentation.
