Job summary

PT Polychemie Asia Pacific Permai is seeking a Staff Procurement Mechanical & Spareparts to manage end-to-end procurement for mechanical components, coordinate supplier relationships, and support logistics fleet parts from its Jakarta head office.

The role requires a technical background, 1–3 years of procurement experience in chemical or related industries, and strong negotiation skills. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems is a plus; Indonesian and English language skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Diploma (D3/S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end procurement for mechanical spare parts and engineering materials.
Source and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors in local and international networks.
Negotiate terms and payment, optimize lead times to reduce downtime.
Verify specifications, part numbers, and datasheets against requisitions and quotations.
Process and issue POs; maintain purchasing archives and track deliveries.
Coordinate with Plant Maintenance/Finance for stock updates and payments.
