Job summary

BP AKR Fuels Retail is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities across our fuel station and retail business. You will develop and execute strategies, manage suppliers, optimize costs, and ensure timely availability of goods and services to support operations and retail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, procurement, business administration, engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of procurement experience with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in retail, fuel station, FMCG, hospitality, manufacturing, or multi-site operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end procurement process including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, purchasing, and contract management.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers to ensure quality and continuity of supply.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and SLAs with suppliers.
• Manage procurement for fuel station operations, retail products, equipment, maintenance, facilities, construction, and other requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, product quality, and compliance with terms.
• Drive cost optimization and identify savings opportunities.
• Establish and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Retail, Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies, regulations, and ethics.
• Analyze procurement spending, supplier performance, and market trends to support decisions.
• Lead and develop the procurement team for operational excellence.
• Manage procurement risks including disruptions, dependencies, price fluctuations, quality issues.

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, applicable regulations, and ethical standards.
• Analyze procurement spending, supplier performance, and market trends to support management decision-making.
• Lead and develop the procurement team to achieve operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Manage procurement risks, including supply disruptions, supplier dependency, price fluctuations, and quality issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or supervisory position.
• Experience in retail, fuel station, FMCG, hospitality, manufacturing, or multi-site operations is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple procurement categories and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of cost analysis, budgeting, and procurement performance metrics.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multi-site operational environment.
