Job summary

Manulife Indonesia seeks a Procurement Lead to steer country procurement, vendor management, and policy development in alignment with regional strategies. You will chair the local Procurement Council, coordinate RFx activities, and drive cost savings while coordinating with Asia Procurement and legal/compliance teams.

The role requires 8+ years in procurement, strong contract and vendor management expertise, and experience in global organizations. This is an in-office role in Jakarta.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, contract management and/or vendor management.
• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting or legal studies preferred.
• Solid knowledge of procurement, vendor management and contract best practices, processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead country procurement and be the first contact for external vendors.
• Organize and chair the local Procurement Council and coordinate resolutions.
• Develop local procurement policy supplement aligned with governance.
• Lead RFx processes and vendor evaluations using standard templates.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with policies and ethics.
• Collaborate with Asia Procurement and cross-functional experts as needed.
• Deliver target savings and report results using savings methodology.
• Identify procurement opportunities for economic benefits and risk mitigation.
