Jora Malaysia is seeking a Purchasing professional to manage daily procurement of raw materials, packaging, and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely deliveries and cost control. You will source suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate terms, prepare POs, and maintain accurate records while coordinating with Production, Warehouse, and Finance.
Applicants should have a Diploma/Degree in Purchasing or related field, 2–3 years of experience in F&B or manufacturing, and strong Excel/multilingual

Handle daily purchasing activities for raw materials, packaging materials, kitchen supplies, equipment, and other operational requirements.
Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate pricing and terms.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain accurate purchasing records.
Follow up with suppliers on orders, deliveries, product availability, and lead times.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Production and Warehouse teams to ensure sufficient supply and prevent stock shortages.
Compare supplier pricing, product quality, and terms to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and source new suppliers when required.
Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Operations, Finance, and other relevant departments on purchasing requirements.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to pricing, quality, quantity, or delivery.
Ensure purchasing activities comply with Company requirements, food safety standards, and HALAL requirements.
Guide and assist the Junior Purchasing staff in handling daily purchasing tasks and ensure proper follow-up on assigned matters.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.
Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Alternate Saturday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Diploma or Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 2-3 years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience.
Experience in the F&B, food manufacturing, central kitchen, or related industry will be an added advantage.
Good sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple purchasing requirements.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, as the role requires regular communication with Chinese-speaking suppliers.
