Job summary

Center for Energy and Environment (CEE) is seeking an Operations Specialist to oversee procurement and event logistics within the Market Transformation team. You will manage end-to-end vendor procurement, ensure policy compliance, and act as the primary contact for procurement decisions across Legal, Accounting, and Operations.

In addition to procurement, you will lead internal and external events, including ETA Forum, and contribute to onboarding, staff development, and budget tracking.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of procurement policies and RFP/RFQ development.
• Experience with vendor procurement and contract compliance.
• Proven ability to plan and execute events.
• Ability to work with Legal, Accounting, and Operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication with external vendors.
• Experience with state contract compliance is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support RFPs/RFQs and procurement processes.
• Coordinate internal and external events including ETA Forum.
• Assist onboarding and staff development in procurement practices.
• Support budgeting and financial operations.
• Improve procurement tools and processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional with Legal, Accounting, and Operations.
