Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Process Improvement lead to drive operational excellence across our knowledge organization. The role focuses on leading projects to establish or improve processes and metrics to meet customer needs through data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills and a passion for continuous improvement, with Lean Six Sigma knowledge and experience guiding cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years leading small to mid-sized process improvement projects.
• 6+ years overall experience in process optimization or related roles.
• Preferred Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification and Green Belt Training.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology and associated tools.

Responsibilities

• Enable UL Solutions knowledge activities with defined processes, policies, and procedures.
• Develop, optimize and improve processes to enhance productivity and drive efficiencies and consistency.
• Develop/improve metrics, monitor and analyze data to ensure sustained and continuous process improvement.
• Perform process capability studies, statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making to achieve operational excellence and meet efficiency targets.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.
