Job summary

Principal Engineer, Solutions Architecture

After thorough consultation with our customers and careful analysis, we develop new IT systems or replace existing systems that support customers' strategic, operational and financial goals.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Consults with external customers and implements new IT solutions and/or replaces existing IT solutions
• Develops and offers integrated, end-to-end IT solutions that support the customer's strategic, operational and financial goals and positions Dell for rapidly growing business
• Responsible for translating the client's business and technical requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large, complex technology solutions and integrating architecture

Essential Requirements

• Experience in designing and implementing large scale networking and cabling infrastructure (more than 100,000 connections)
• Experience in structured cabling, cable trunking, fibre shuffling, patching, and labelling.
• Deep knowledge of Gen AI Leaf/Spine networking architecture including multi-plane design
• Experience in configuring L2/L3 Leaf/Spine networking using Nvidia Spectrum switches/Cumulus OS
• Experience in InfiniBand switches
• L3 Experience in performing networking configuration using Sonic OS (Dell/Nvidia Switches) for east west GPU traffic
• Ability to design cable layout for largescale AI deployments
• Capable of leading technical workshops, solution presentations, and architecture discussions with customers
• High amount of travel across SEA

Desirable Requirements

• 8-10 years of strong experience in enterprise infrastructure solution architecture, deployment, and project delivery.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing Dell Technologies solutions, including PowerMax, PowerStore, PowerScale, Connectrix, PowerEdge, GenAI Infrastructure, ECS, and Dell Networking.
• Solid knowledge of Windows, Linux, VMware, OpenShift, and enterprise virtualization platforms.
