Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in Transportation and Pricing freight forwarding.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to provide accurate responses to rate requests.
• Experience in Ocean Freight market in Indonesia or overseas required.
• Problem solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to respond accurately and promptly to rate requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Ocean Freight market in Indonesia or abroad.
• Strong project management skills; multitasking and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for pricing performance for Internal Barsan and Inquiry from Barsan Branch Offices.
• Improve sales capacity for Indonesian ocean freight market.
• Build relationships with vendors and partners.
• Search, call, and build new relationships with potential vendors.
• Arrange and attend vendor meetings and events.
• Coordinate with pricing, sales, operations and finance teams.
• Prepare reports for pricing.

Responsibilities

• Working hours between 8.00 AM to 5.00 PM, Monday to Friday
• Responsible for pricing performance for Internal Barsan and Inquiry from Barsan Branch Offices
• Responsible for improving our sales capacity for Indonesian ocean freight market.
• Improving our relationships with current partners/vendors
• Searching, calling & building new relationships with potential vendors
• Arranging and attending vendor meetings & events.
• Working in coordination & closely with pricing, sales, operational, and finance team
• Preparing reports for pricing

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in English and Bahasa.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Business, Statistics, Math, or related field (Preferred)
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in Transportation and Pricing freight forwarding
• Having databased and bold relationship with Liners, NVOCC, Custom Broker, and Trucking Vendor
• Problem solving and analytical skills, as well as a strong attention to detail
• Provide accurate and timely responses to customer’s rate requests
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Experienced in Ocean Freight market in Indonesia or overseas.
• Strong project management skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Understand Pricing Market for Export/Import in Indonesia
• Stay in Jakarta.
