Job summary

PT On Time Express in Jakarta is seeking a pricing specialist with strong English and Indonesian. You will handle rate inquiries for air and sea freight, both export and import, and monitor the Pricing division for competitive rates.

The role requires 5 years in forwarding/export-import, cost understanding, and ability to work in a team, with focus on vendor relationships and problem solving.

Qualifications

• 5 years experiences in forwarding/export import industry.
• Excellent understanding of cost structures, profit margins, and pricing strategies in the logistics sector.

Responsibilities

• Receiving rate inquiry overseas agent & customer for Air freight, Sea freight (export and import).
• Monitoring Pricing division to find competitive rate to vendor.
• Update monthly rate to HQ and Overseas agent.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers to optimise costs.
• Ensure pricing compliance with company policies and contractual obligations with clients and carriers.

Receiving rate inquiry overseas agent & customer for Air freight, Sea freight (export and import)

Monitoring Pricing division to find competitive rate to vendor

Update monthly rate to HQ and Overseas agent

Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers to optimise costs

Ensure pricing compliance with company policies and contractual obligations with clients and carriers

What we're looking for

Proficiency in English and Indonesian, both written and spoken

5 years experiences in forwarding/export import industry

Well organized and able to working as team

Excellent understanding of cost structures, profit margins, and pricing strategies in the logistics sector

Good relationship and communication with vendors/other third party/overseas agent/customer

Able to take a decision and solving problem
