Job summary

NOV is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design pressure vessels, STHE, and storage tanks in line with ASME and client specifications. You will prepare calculations and GA drawings to support fabrication and ensure quality across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include interpreting datasheets, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and providing technical solutions from design through fabrication, with emphasis on compliance and engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Pressure Vessel Design Engineering (fresh graduates with excellent academic records are also welcome to apply).
• Proficient in PV Elite and/or Compress.
• Able to perform manual engineering calculations.
• Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII Div.1 & Div.2, ASME Section II, TEMA, and relevant engineering practices.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) knowledge will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs for Pressure Vessels, STHE, and Storage Tanks.
• Perform design calculations and prepare engineering documentation.
• Prepare and review General Arrangement (GA) drawings based on design calculations.
• Interpret client datasheets, technical specifications, and applicable design codes.
• Coordinate with Project, Production, and Quality teams to ensure design requirements are properly implemented.
• Provide technical support throughout fabrication and project execution.
