Job summary

Akar Inti Teknologi in Jakarta seeks a driven Presales Engineer to gather and analyze client requirements, design solution architectures, and provide technical consultation while supporting the sales team through proposals.

You will manage technical aspects of engagements, ensure proposed solutions are scalable and secure, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, delivering value across banking, finance, healthcare, and lifestyle projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, or similar.
• Experience collaborating with sales and engineering teams in IT consulting environments.
• Certifications like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, CISSP, CISM, CEH or ISO 27001 knowledge are a plus.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Sales/BD and Engineering to align requirements and solutions.
• Define technical requirements and communicate to stakeholders.
• Provide functional and technical expertise during client engagements.
• Support sales with technical presentations and discussions during meetings.
• Estimate man-days for projects/CRs within SLA of 5 working days.
• Collaborate with Product and Project teams for seamless delivery.
• Develop detailed project timelines with milestones and resource planning.
• Offer IT solution recommendations aligned with business goals.
• Guide clients through creating BRDs and documenting requirements.
• Develop and review solution architecture and design documentation.
• Provide ongoing evaluation of architectural solutions before and after deployment.
• Maintain knowledge of client products to tailor solutions.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams.
• Create case studies and use cases from successful projects.
• Maintain technical inventory and project documentation.
