Job summary

PT Tera Logistic Indonesia is seeking a PDI Supervisor for electric vehicle units to ensure each vehicle meets quality standards and regulatory requirements before delivery. You will lead the PDI team and oversee mechanical, electrical, battery, software, and feature checks while maintaining SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3 in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in PDI, Quality Control, or After-Sales Service in the automotive industry, especially in electric vehicles.
• Understanding of vehicle inspection processes before delivery.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and inspection-related software.
• Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and English.

Job description

This role involves overseeing the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) process for electric vehicle units, ensuring every vehicle delivered meets company quality standards and applicable regulations. You will manage inspection stages including mechanical, electrical, battery system, software, and feature completeness checks, lead and supervise the PDI technician team, and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, vehicle safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

Ensure that every electric vehicle unit delivered has undergone inspection and preparation according to company quality standards and applicable regulations

Control and oversee all inspection stages, including mechanical, electrical, battery system, software, and feature completeness checks before delivery

Effectively manage the PDI technician team to ensure smooth inspection processes, timely execution, and efficiency without compromising quality

Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), vehicle safety regulations, and environmental standards in the PDI process

Train, guide, and supervise PDI technicians to improve competency, performance, and awareness of quality and workplace safety

Identify and resolve technical issues found during inspections and provide recommendations for product quality improvement

Prepare inspection reports, analyze field findings, and provide recommendations to management to enhance the PDI process

Coordinate with relevant divisions at the Head Office and other business partners to support PDC operations

Perform administrative tasks, including document reviews and proper filing of reports and records

About you

Minimum D3 in any major (Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering preferred)

Minimum of 3 years in PDI, Quality Control, or After-Sales Service in the automotive industry, especially in electric vehicles

Understanding of vehicle inspection processes before delivery

Strong troubleshooting and failure analysis skills for electric vehicle components

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and inspection-related software

Strong leadership abilities with experience in team supervision and training

Ability to work under pressure and meet inspection targets

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant inspection software

Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and English

Willing to work shifts or overtime if required
