Job summary

PT. Berani Merintis Sejahtera in North Jakarta seeks an experienced Fleet Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while leading drivers and maintenance staff.

You will monitor vehicle utilisation, coordinate maintenance, manage fuel usage and reporting, and liaise with clients to ensure timely deliveries, while driving cost efficiency across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fleet management or fleet supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repairs and fleet operations.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and systems, including telematics and GPS tracking.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with proven ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Sound understanding of Indonesian traffic regulations, safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis.
• Valid driving licence and understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance.
• Ability to work shift patterns and respond to operational emergencies as required.
• Excellent communication skills in Indonesian; English proficiency is advantageous.
• Certificate in fleet management or logistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fleet operations and monitor vehicle utilisation to ensure optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Supervise and manage fleet drivers, including scheduling, performance monitoring, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs with mechanics and external service providers to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, driver logs and vehicle inspections.
• Implement and enforce compliance with traffic regulations, safety standards and company policies across the fleet.
• Investigate and resolve vehicle-related incidents, accidents and complaints in a timely manner.
• Monitor vehicle performance data and identify opportunities for improving fuel efficiency and reducing operational costs.
• Conduct regular safety briefings and training sessions for drivers and support staff.
• Prepare regular reports on fleet performance metrics for senior management.
• Liaise with clients and coordinate logistics schedules to ensure timely delivery of services.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Supervisor to join PT. Berani Merintis Sejahtera in North Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our vehicle fleet. As Fleet Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, safety, and compliance of all fleet operations, whilst managing a team of drivers and maintenance personnel. This role is integral to our logistics operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver reliable service to our clients.
