Job summary

Kulu in Bali is seeking a Lead Product Engineer to own the platform powering our AI agents: customer portal, live meeting, onboarding, billing, admin, and reporting. This is a hands-on, player-coach role: you will eventually lead engineers, but first and foremost you ship.

You will turn product and commercial priorities into polished features, maintain clear API contracts and data models, and triage urgent work to unblock deals in days.

Qualifications

• Excellent full-stack fundamentals with TS/React frontend and backend API experience.
• Ability to translate underspecified requests into shipped features.
• Proven track record delivering fast in small teams without sacrificing quality.
• Experience collaborating with founders and commercial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform end-to-end, turning priorities into shipped features.
• Make platform architecture robust with clean APIs and data models.
• Drive deals by delivering urgent platform work without breaking existing systems.
• Lead the platform team, review work, and mentor engineers.
