Job summary

PT Samindo Resources Tbk, a holding company with a new palm plantation and mill subsidiary, seeks an experienced HR Manager to build and lead HR and administrative functions in South Jakarta. The role includes manpower planning, recruitment, policy development, payroll, and site support for early-stage plantation operations.

You will manage full employee life cycle, coordinate with contractors, and travel to plantation sites as required, reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Proven track record in HR leadership roles, preferably in plantation/agriculture.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment and development of HR and general administrative functions for the new palm plantation and mill business.
• Develop manpower plans, organizational structures, job descriptions, and compensation structures.
• Lead recruitment and manpower sourcing for all levels of employees and operational workers.
• Establish HR policies, procedures, systems and administrative processes.
• Manage full employee life cycle including onboarding, performance management, training, and offboarding.
• Coordinate HR requirements for site development activities and with third-party contractors.
• Oversee payroll, benefits, attendance, leave, and personnel administration.
• Develop and implement welfare, site administration, accommodation, transportation arrangements.
• Provide HR advice to management on manpower, organization, and labour availability.
• Lead and mentor the HR and administrative team.
