Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim is seeking a Planning & Design Head to lead the entire planning and design development for large-scale projects in Indonesia. You will steer master plans, site layouts, and architectural concepts while coordinating multiple disciplines to ensure quality, cost targets, and timeline compliance.

The role requires a strong leadership mindset, strategic planning, and extensive experience in property development, with a track record of delivering residential, commercial, or township

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• At least 10 years in planning, design, architecture or property development.
• 5+ years in a managerial/head role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Planning & Design Department from concept to design development.
• Develop master plan concepts, site plans, architectural design, and landscape.
• Coordinate architecture, structure, MEP, landscape, interior disciplines.
• Review and approve design concepts before construction.
• Ensure compliance with master plan, regulations, and project feasibility.
• Control design timeline and meet targets.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Construction, Commercial, Legal and other departments.
• Manage design consultants to meet briefs, standards and targets.
• Conduct design evaluation to improve cost efficiency, function, aesthetics, and value.
• Lead value engineering without reducing quality or project value.

Planning & Design Head Department responsible for ensuring the entire planning and design process runs according to concept, quality standards, cost targets, timeline, and company development vision. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and experience in planning and property project design development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Planning & Design Department throughout the entire planning and design development process for projects
• Develop master plan concepts, site plans, architectural design, landscape, and design development according to project requirements
• Coordinate architecture, structure, MEP, landscape, interior, and related disciplines work
• Review and approve design concepts and development before construction phase
• Ensure design compliance with master plan, regulations, technical standards, market needs, and project feasibility
• Control design process timeline and ensure completion targets are achieved
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Construction, Commercial, Legal, and related departments
• Manage design consultants and ensure outputs meet brief, standards, and project targets
• Conduct design evaluation to improve cost efficiency, function, aesthetics, and commercial value
• Lead value engineering processes and design optimization without reducing quality and project value

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Planning, Design, Architecture, or Property Development
• Minimum 5 years of experience at Manager/Head level
• Experience handling property development projects including residential, commercial, mixed-use, or township
• Understanding of master planning, site planning, architectural design, design development, and construction drawing processes
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and coordinate multidisciplinary work
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem solving, and project management capabilities
• Ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or related design software is an advantage
• Good communication and presentation skills
