Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated Physical Security & Technology Officer to support and continuously improve site security operations. This role is responsible for managing physical security systems, overseeing security service providers (BUJP), ensuring compliance with security procedures, and driving security technology enhancement initiatives to strengthen site protection and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Physical Security Operations

Coordinate and monitor daily physical security operations across the site.

Ensure effective implementation of security policies, standards, and procedures.

Support incident management, investigations, reporting, and corrective action follow-up.

Conduct security risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.

Security Technology Management

Manage and optimize security systems, including CCTV, Access Control Systems, Alarm Systems, and Visitor Management Systems.

Monitor system performance and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Support security digitalization and technology transformation initiatives.

Evaluate and implement innovative security technologies, including video analytics, AI-based monitoring, and intelligent surveillance solutions.

Act as the primary focal point for Security Service Providers (BUJP).

Monitor security guard deployment, attendance, performance, and compliance with contractual requirements.

Ensure BUJP personnel meet site standards, certification requirements, and operational KPIs.

Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and ensure SLA compliance.

Coordinate security-related training and competency development programs for outsourced security personnel.

Security Administration & Compliance

Manage security documentation, reports, permits, and records accurately and timely.

Maintain security manpower data, duty rosters, access card administration, and security asset inventories.

Prepare monthly security performance reports and security metrics.

Support internal and external audits related to security management systems.

Ensure compliance with company requirements, local regulations, and security governance standards.

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related disciplines.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Physical Security, Corporate Security, Industrial Security, or Security Operations.

Experience in managing Security Service Providers (BUJP) and outsourced security personnel.

Hands-on experience with CCTV Monitoring, Access Control Systems, Security Command Center, or Security Technology Platforms.

Strong knowledge of security administration, reporting, and compliance management.

Familiarity with AI-driven security solutions, video analytics, and intelligent surveillance systems is an advantage.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and report preparation.

Willing to be placed in Sei Mangkei, North Sumatra.

UOI is one of the biggest Olechemical factories in the world and has been built on an area of 18 hectares, located in Special Economic Zone (KEK) Sei Mangkei, Blok M, N, R, S Huta VI District of Bosar Maligas, Simalungun, North Sumatra, Indonesia, where 30% of equipment manufacturers using domestic products, the plant is designed to process CPKO (Crude Palm Kernel Oil) and 95% of the products will be used by Unilever factories around the world.
