Job summary

Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia is seeking a Security Officer to manage day-to-day security operations, leverage CCTV and access control systems, and analyze data to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.

The role requires 4+ years in security operations or related supervision, a degree in security-related field, and proficiency with MS Office. You will work on-site at Sei Mangkei, North Sumatera, and support incident investigations and security enhancements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as top security decision-maker on site in absence of the Assistant Manager Security within authority.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure SLAs are met.
• Participate in security review meetings and follow up actions.
• Review and approve security guard deployments and changes.
• Handle procurement and other security-related admin tasks.
• Ensure security activities align with policies and standards.
• Maintain CCTV, access control, alarms, and other devices.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs of security systems.
• Assist investigations and document incidents and reports.
• Analyze incidents and security trends to identify improvements.
• Prepare reports and provide insights to management for decisions.

Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia are looking for a well-rounded Security Officer who combines strong security operations experience with analytical capabilities and technology awareness. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing day-to-day security activities, leveraging security technologies such as CCTV and access control systems, and analyzing operational data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for continuous improvement. This role requires a proactive individual who can bridge security operations, technology, and analytical insights to enhance overall site security performance.

Job Responsibilities :

• Act as the highest security decision-maker on site in the absence of the Assistant Manager Security, within assigned authority limits.
• Monitor security vendor performance and ensure compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Participate in security review meetings and ensure timely follow-up of action items.
• Review and approve security guard deployments, replacements, and personnel changes.
• Manage administrative processes, including procurement transactions and other security-related documentation.
• Ensure security operations are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, and professional standards.
• Monitor and maintain security technologies, including CCTV systems, access control systems, alarm systems, and other security devices.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for security systems and equipment.
• Assist in investigations and ensure incidents such as theft, trespassing, security breaches, and emergencies are properly documented and reported.
• Analyze incidents, operational data, and security trends to identify risks and recommend improvements.
• Prepare reports and provide operational insights to support management decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support security system enhcements, upgrades, implementation projects, and technology adoption initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen site security performance and compliance.

Requirements :

• Willing to work form site at Sei Mangkei, North Sumatera
• Associate or bachelor's degree in security management, Criminology, Law, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
• Security certifications such as Gada Madya or Gada Utama are an advantage.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in security operations, law enforcement, military, or supervisory security-related roles.
• Strong knowledge of physical security procedures, risk assessment, and security operational protocols.
• Good understanding of security technologies, including CCTV, access control systems, alarm systems, and other electronic security solutions.
• Ability to analyze incidents, operational data, security trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Experience in incident investigation, reporting, and security performance monitoring.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to manage administration, documentation, and compliance with audit requirements and company standards.
• Strong supervision, coordination, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Decisive, proactive, and capable of working independently in dynamic situations.
