Job summary

Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia (UOI) is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor (Planning) to bridge technology initiatives with business goals and drive plant efficiency at our North Sumatra facility.

You will convert notifications to work orders, plan maintenance, participate in SAP-based reviews, and manage resources to maintain the work order backlog.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 5+ years in maintenance execution in oleochemical/manufacture/petrochemical industries.
• 5+ years as Mechanical Engineer.
• 5+ years in maintenance planning or supervisor role.
• Experience in planning major shutdown projects.
• Ability to align operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Convert notification to Work orders.
• Conduct site visits & discuss with concerned originators to estimate the scope of planned maintenance activities.
• Attend the planning & operation scheduling meetings and provide schedule reports.
• Determine resources requirements (manpower, equipment, tools) and sequences for maintenance jobs and create requests for additional resources.
• Intimate for creation of new stock entries and follow up material requisitions with respective departments for all maintenance.
• Review of job plans in SAP & participate in improvements based on the actuals.
• Maintain the work order backlog.

We are welcoming high caliber professionals to come on board as part of our management team as Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor (Planning) who will play a crucial role in connecting technology initiatives with business objectives, ensure that digital transformations align with organizational goals, and drive operational efficiencies. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:

1. Convert notification to Work order.
2. Conduct site visits & discuss with concerned work originators to estimate the exact scope of works for the planned maintenance activities.
3. Attends the regular planning & operation scheduling meetings and provide schedule reports.
4. Determines resources requirements (manpower, equipment, tools, and lifting equipment) and works sequences for maintenance jobs and create request for any additional required resources.
5. Intimate for creation of new stock entries and follow up material requisitions with respective departments for all type of maintenance.
6. Review of job plans in SAP & participate in improvements based on the actuals.
7. Maintain the work order backlog.

The requirements:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (advantages) or related courses.

Minimum 5 years working experience in the maintenance execution in the Oleochemical/Manufacture/Petrochemical industries are welcome.

Minimum 5 years working experience as the Mechanical Engineer.

Minimum 5 years working experience in handling maintenance planning or already in the Supervisor level.

Experience in planning major shutdown projects.

Experience in aligning the requirements of operations and maintenance.

UOI is one of the biggest Olechemical factories in the world and has been built on an area of 18 hectares, located in Special Economic Zone (KEK) Sei Mangkei, Blok M, N, R, S Huta VI District of Bosar Maligas, Simalungun, North Sumatra, Indonesia, where 30% of equipment manufacturers using domestic products, the plant is designed to process CPKO (Crude Palm Kernel Oil) and 95% of the products will be used by Unilever factories around the world.
