Job summary

Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia (UOI) invites qualified professionals to join as an Instrument & Electrical Technician. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, install and calibrate instrumentation and electrical systems, and ensure compliance with safety and GMP standards.

PLC/SCADA proficiency is essential. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Instrumentation/Automation and has at least three years of relevant experience in oleochemical/manufacturing/FMCG

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/ Instrument Control/ Automation/ Mechatronic/ Industrial Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Solid experience in the Oleochemical/Manufacturing/FMCG.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance: Preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Trouble shooting and repair: Installation, calibration, maintenance of instrumentation control and electrical systems, including reading electrical diagrams/schematics.
• Familiar with PLCs, MCC, and SCADA systems.
• Strictly adhere to SHE and GMP guidelines.

In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:

Maintenance:

Preventive and corrective maintenance.

Trouble shooting and repair:

Solid experience in installation, calibration, maintenance of instrumentation control and electrical systems including read electrical and instrumentation diagrams/schematics.

Familiar with PLCs, MCC, and SCADA systems.

Compliance:

Strictly referred to the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

The requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from Electrical/ Instrument Control/ Automation/ Mechatronic/ Industrial Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 3 Years in the relevant experience.

Solid experience in the Oleochemical/Manufacturing/FMCG

UOI is one of the biggest Olechemical factories in the world and has been built on an area of 18 hectares, located in Special Economic Zone (KEK) Sei Mangkei, Blok M, N, R, S Huta VI District of Bosar Maligas, Simalungun, North Sumatra, Indonesia, where 30% of equipment manufacturers using domestic products, the plant is designed to process CPKO (Crude Palm Kernel Oil) and 95% of the products will be used by Unilever factories around the world.
