Job summary

ScaleOcean in Jakarta is seeking a motivated HR Intern to support day-to-day HR operations. You will assist with recruitment tasks, onboarding, data maintenance, and employee engagement initiatives while learning people operations best practices.

Ideal candidates are undergraduate students in HR, psychology, or business, with strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities, and an eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
• Interested in learning about HR (not just recruitment, but also people operations, engagement, and admin tasks)
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Knowledge of sourcing techniques, recruitment tools and HR best practices is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support the HR team in day-to-day activities
• Help with recruitment tasks like posting jobs, screening CVs, and scheduling interviews
• Keep employee data and HR documents updated and organized
• Assist with onboarding new hires and preparing necessary documents
• Help organize employee engagement activities or internal events
• Support attendance tracking and other simple HR admin tasks
• Assist in creating simple reports or updating HR data
• Join and support ongoing HR projects and initiatives
• Help with internal communication and employer branding activities
