Responsibilities

• Coordinate training arrangements, including invitations and room setup.
• Support MOHG learning programs and follow standards.
• Assist in internship lifecycle: pre-screening, interviews, onboarding.
• Record trainee databases and school visit documents.
• Prepare welcome kit and onboarding paperwork.
• Create daily Colleague Restaurant menus.
• Develop visual materials to promote trainee events.
• Arrange logistics and decorations for internal events.
• Support additional People & Culture tasks as needed.

About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta, the People & Culture Intern will support the hotel’s People & Culture, colleague engagement, and organizational culture initiatives. This role plays a key part in enhancing the colleague experience, promoting learning and development across departments, and ensuring alignment with MOHG’s values and global commitments. The People & Culture Intern reports to the Assistant Director of People & Culture and collaborates closely with the People & Culture team.

As People & Culture Intern, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Learning & Development

• Coordinate training arrangements, including invitations, attendance sheets, and room setup.

• Support the execution of MOHG learning programs by following up on standards and checklists.

Internship Recruitment

• Support internship lifecycle includingpre-screening,interview scheduling, document collection,MCU,onboarding, andassistin clearance.

• Record andmaintaintrainee databases and school visit documents.

• Preparea welcomekitfornew hire paperwork to ensure smooth onboarding.

Colleague Communication

• Create daily Colleague Restaurant (MO Makan) menus.

• Develop engagingand high-qualityvisual materials to promotetraineeevents or share updates.

• Preparelogisticsanddecorations for internal events.

Additional Responsibilities

• Support People & Culturefunctionsby performingadditionaltasks asrequired, according to departmentalneeds.

As People & Culture Intern, we expect from you:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field.
• Strong interest in HR, organizational culture, and employee engagement within the hospitality industry.
• Basic knowledge of HR principles and practices.
• Good command of English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
