Job summary

Ajaib Group in Jakarta is seeking a Payment Operations Specialist to support day-to-day operational processes, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and timely transaction processing in line with SLAs.

You will act as a key control point, handle complex cases, coordinate escalations, mentor junior staff, and contribute to ongoing operational improvements across the payments workflow in Indonesia.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in operations, finance operations, or similar roles.
• Basic data analysis skills (Excel, Google Sheets, or SQL).
• Strong understanding of operational processes and reconciliation flows.
• Leadership skills with experience managing or guiding small teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end operational tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of operational processes.
• Handle complex reconciliation and exception cases.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues, including root cause analysis.
• Monitor SLA performance, queue health, and sub-team productivity.
• Act as the escalation point for operational issues.

We are looking for a Payment Operations Specialist to support day-to-day operational processes while ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and smooth transaction processing in line with defined SLAs. This role also serves as a key control point in the workflow, handling complex cases, managing escalations, and supporting team performance, while contributing to continuous operational improvements

• 2–3 years of experience in operations, finance operations, or similar roles
• Prior experience in handling transactions, reconciliations, or supervisory tasks is preferred
• Basic data analysis skills (Excel, Google Sheets, or SQL)
• Strong understanding of operational processes and reconciliation flows
• Familiarity with tools such as Metabase, Jira, Trello, or similar workflow management systems (preferred)
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations
• Leadership skills with experience managing or guiding small teams
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
• Mentoring and coaching capabilities
• Strategic thinking for short-term operational improvements
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
