Job summary

Bali Volleyball Academy is seeking a Partnership and B2B Communications Manager to build and manage partnerships and complex deals from outreach to delivery. You will travel to hotels, schools and wellness spaces to meet prospects and close agreements.

Initially focusing on international and private schools in Bali, the role will expand to hotels, travel, wellness and corporate events as partnerships mature. Strong English and persistent follow-through are essential.

Qualifications

• Confident business English, in writing and on a call.
• Cold outreach and cold calls, without taking a no personally.
• Keeping a clean database, with status, history and next step on every single contact.
• Working from scripts, proposals and contract templates.
• Chasing obligations, money and barter until they actually arrive.
• A short plan every morning, a short report every evening.

We are hiring a Partnership and B2B Communications Manager. Kerobokan, Bali.

This is a new role. Right now our partnerships happen by accident. Your job is to make them happen on purpose.

WHAT THE JOB ACTUALLY IS

You build the partner and B2B databases from close to nothing. You do the cold outreach, the calls and the follow ups. You work out who is worth our founders' time, you set up those meetings, you sit in them, and then you stay with the deal until it is signed and delivered. Not handed over and forgotten.

You will spend real time out of the office: hotels, schools, wellness spaces, expat and business events, anywhere our future partners already are.

First focus is the international and private schools in Bali. After that hotels and travel, wellness, sports brands and nutrition, cafes, and companies looking for corporate days.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE GOOD AT

WHO THIS IS NOT FOR

Someone who enjoys the first meeting and loses interest in the paperwork. Most of the value in this role is in the follow through.
