Job summary

Packet Systems Indonesia is seeking an IT-security engineer to provide engineering support for Palo Alto-based solutions in Jakarta. You will manage daily operations, assist with deployments, and troubleshoot incidents while coordinating with client infrastructure teams and vendors.

The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of Palo Alto, F5, and Bluecoat technologies, and proficient English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CE/Telecommunication from a reputable university.
• Minimum 2 years' experience managing Palo Alto Firewall technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Load Balancer (F5) and Proxy (Bluecoat).
• Exposure to Routing and Switching technologies.
• Solid understanding of operations and project-based tasks (troubleshooting, upgrades, deployments).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT-security engineering support to improve client security posture.
• Manage day-to-day operations, monitoring, and support of Palo Alto Security solution.
• Provide critical troubleshooting and corrective actions to maintain security integrity.
• Support change requests in customer networks.
• Assist with new installations and migration/integration of systems.
• Provide initial troubleshooting before escalation.
• Collaborate with client's IT teams and third-party vendors for case escalation.
• Contribute to project documentation (Site Survey, MoP, UAT).
