Job summary

PT Metrocom Global Solusi seeks an L2 Network & Security Engineer (Palo Alto) to install and manage firewall and proxy configurations. You will participate in on-site work at Jakarta office, handling security policies, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

You bring 2+ years in network/security engineering, PCNSE/PCNSA, and strong documentation and collaboration skills. This is a contract-based role with shifting schedules and close client interaction.

Qualifications

• D3 or higher in computer/ electrical engineering or informatics.
• At least 2 years in network and security engineering.
• Expert-level experience with configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Palo Alto proxies.
• Professional Palo Alto certifications (PCNSE or PCNSA).
• Experience securing enterprise networks with policies, IPS, and access control.
• Familiar with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wireshark.
• Hands-on routing, switching, and load balancing.
• Able to document configurations, incidents, and solutions clearly.
• Experience opening and handling TAC cases with principals.
• Committed to staying updated with emerging technologies.

L2 Network & Security Engineer (Palo Alto) – ( Firewall & Proxy )

1. Minimum Diploma (D3) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Informatics

2. Minimum of 2 years in network and security engineering or related positions

3. Expert-level experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Proxy Palo Alto

4. Professional-level certification in Palo Alto Products (PCNSE or PCNSA)

5. Proven experience securing enterprise networks: security policies, intrusion prevention, access control mechanisms

6. Familiarity with network protocols and tools: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wireshark

7. Hands-on experience with routing, switching, and load balancing

8. Ability to document configurations, incidents, and solutions clearly

9. Experience opening and handling TAC cases with principals

10. Commitment to staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and security trends

Requirements:

1. Willing to be placed in Jakarta

2. Willing to work on-site at the customer’s office in a shifting schedule

3. Willing to be contracted for the duration of the project
