  • Minimum 5 years in Technical & Commercial Order Management or related functions.
  • Experience supporting project-based business in a multinational environment preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP PS, OTC, PTP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the local Order Management team in Indonesia.
  • Manage end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) in SAP for project orders.
  • Administer project execution activities within SAP PS and maintain project master data.
  • Support commercial execution of contracts including terms and export compliance.
  • Maintain project and revenue data for month-end closing and reporting.

Job description

The Order Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end order lifecycle for project business, ensuring accurate order execution, commercial compliance, timely fulfillment, invoicing and customer satisfaction. The role serves as a local team lead in Indonesia, responsible for managing and developing the local Order Management team while ensuring operational excellence and adherence to global governance standards. Acting as a key liaison among Sales, Project Management, Supply Chain, Finance and Business Operations teams, the Order Manager ensures the successful execution, delivery and cash realization of project orders. The role also plays a critical part in resolving order-related issues, driving process improvements and supporting continuous operational excellence.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the local Order Management team in Indonesia, reporting directly to the regional/global functional lead to ensure alignment with global processes, compliance requirements and governance standards
  • Manage the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) process in SAP for project orders, including quotation creation, sales order processing, billing plan maintenance, delivery coordination, invoicing and order closure
  • Administer project execution activities within SAP Project System (PS), including project setup for WBS (work breakdown structure), network activity and project related master data maintenance in accordance with approved project budgets and requirements
  • Support the commercial execution of contract including payment terms, incoterms and export control compliance to ensure the accuracy, completeness and compliance of project order
  • Maintain project and revenue data to support month-end closing and reporting activities. Ensure timely invoicing, monitor outstanding receivables and customer credit limits in coordination with Finance and Controlling team
  • Create purchase orders based on approved purchase requisitions and project network requirements. Closely communicate with suppliers and monitor supplier's deliveries to support project timeline
  • Prepare and submit sales order and delivery documentation to customers in line with project requirements
  • Collaborate closely with Project Management, Finance, Logistics, Service and other project stakeholders to monitor project progress, delivery status, billing milestones and financial performance. Escalate issues and risks when necessary
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Order Management efficiency, process standardization, operational accuracy and overall customer experience
Job Requirement
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Technical & Commercial Order Management, Sales Operations, Sales Administration, Supply Chain Operations or related functions, including experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity
  • Experience supporting project-based business and managing complex customer orders within a multinational environment is highly preferred
  • Strong Proficiency in SAP PS, OTC and PTP modules and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, well-organized, customer-focused, good analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong sense of ownership
  • Good command of written and spoken English
