Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking an Opex Controller to oversee and optimize day-to-day operating costs within Indonesia. You will handle financial planning, analysis, accounting, and internal controls improvements for operating expenses while partnering with Commercial, Marketing, HRGA and Operations teams to drive efficiencies and robust controls.

The role requires 1–3 years in Accounting/Finance, strong Excel skills, and fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance is required; postgraduate degree is welcome.
• Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in Accounting and Finance, preferably from Public Accounting firm.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Strong accounting background.
• Strong Microsoft Excel technical background.
• Strong ability to lead, influence, drive change amongst ambiguity.
• Goal driven and result oriented.
• Diverse and able to work well in teams and across functions.
• Good analytical skills and strategic thinking, with pro-active, independent, and strong approach.
• Problem solving skills, performing highly detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize the Company’s day-to-day operating costs.
• Provide financial planning & analysis, and accounting support.
• Enhance finance internal controls in the operating expense area.
• Partner with business units, managing and improving finance processes and controls.
• Support local management with timely and accurate financial information.
• Maintain risk controls and interact with stakeholders across functions.
