Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking an Opex Controller in Indonesia to oversee and optimize day-to-day operating costs. You will handle financial planning, analysis, accounting, and internal controls in the operating expense area for the country.

You will interact with multiple stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, HRGA and Operations, driving cost efficiency and strategic decision support.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance is required; postgraduate degree is welcome.
• Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in Accounting and Finance, preferably from Public Accounting firm.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia

Responsibilities

• Monitor operating expense entries daily to catch and fix misallocated costs.
• Review POs to ensure the spending is in line with the budget.
• Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on operating expenses, to identify areas for cost efficiency and productivity improvements.
• Perform a run-rate analysis on current weekly spend trends against month-to-date targets.
• Managing the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for operating expenses.
• Support on financial and accounting analysis to provide timely and accurate financial information to local management team to support strategic decision-making process, as well risk control.
• Constant interaction with many different stakeholders from all functions, including Commercial, Marketing, HRGA and Operations.
