Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3/D4) or Bachelor’s degree (S1).
• At least 3 years of experience as a stretch blow molding machine operator.
• Understanding of the Stretch Blow Molding process and PET materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Stretch Blow Molding machine according to SOP and production parameters.
• Prepare preforms, materials, and equipment before production.
• Monitor heating temperature, blowing pressure, stretching, cooling, cycle time, and related parameters.
• Perform quality inspections on produced bottles.
• Check machine, molds, heaters, compressors, chillers, conveyors, and supporting equipment.
• Assist with mold changes, cleaning, and start-up procedures.
• Troubleshoot each process of the stretch blow molding machine.
• Complete production and quality reports, downtime, and rejects.
• Aim to meet production, quality, and machine efficiency targets.

Job description

• Operate the Stretch Blow Molding machine in accordance with SOP and production parameters.
• Prepare and ensure the availability of preforms, materials, and supporting equipment prior to production.
• Monitor process parameters such as heating temperature, blowing pressure, stretching, cooling, cycle time, and other related parameters.
• Perform quality inspections on produced bottles.
• Check the condition of the machine, molds, heaters, compressors, chillers, conveyors, and supporting equipment.
• Assist with mold changeovers, cleaning, and machine start-up procedures.
• Perform troubleshooting for each process of the stretch blow molding machine.
• Complete reports regarding production, quality inspection results, rejects, and machine downtime.
• Ensure the achievement of production, quality, and machine efficiency targets.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma (D3/D4) or Bachelor’s degree (S1); majors in Plastic Processing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields are preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience as a stretch blow molding machine operator.
• Understanding of the fundamentals of the Stretch Blow Molding process.
• Understanding of the characteristics of plastic material types (specifically PET).
• Understanding of the operation of heaters, compressors, chillers, molds, conveyors, parameter setting, and supporting equipment.
• Ability to perform visual inspections and basic product quality measurements.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting.
• Meticulous, disciplined, responsible, and capable of working in a team.
• Willing to work shifts.
• Understanding of basic OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) and 5S principles.
