Job summary

PZ Cussons in Tangerang, Indonesia, is hiring for a production operator to run and supervise manufacturing lines in accordance with SOPs and GMP standards.

You will start up, operate, changeover, and shut down equipment safely, monitor performance and product quality, and record data accurately. Fresh graduates with hands-on internship experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating or handling production machines during internships.
• Good understanding of machine operation, production processes, and basic PLC programming.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines and equipment according to SOPs and production requirements.
• Perform start-up, operation, changeover and shutdown activities safely and efficiently.
• Monitor machine performance, operating parameters and product quality during runs.
• Record production data, downtime, and issues accurately in required logs.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve minor malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Comply with GMP, company policies, and regulatory requirements at all times; follow EHS procedures and wear PPE.

Job description

Operate production machines and equipment in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and production requirements.Perform machine start-up, operation, changeover, and shutdown activities safely and efficiently.Monitor machine performance, operating parameters, and product quality during production runs.Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and operational standards.Record production data, machine performance, downtime, and operational issues accurately in required documentation. Identify, diagnose, and resolve minor machine malfunctions, jams, and process abnormalities to minimize downtime.Strictly comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), company policies, and regulatory requirements at all times.Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferably from a Polytechnic).
• Fresh graduates (D3) are welcome to apply, provided they have hands‑on experience operating or handling production machines during internships.
• Good understanding of machine operation, production processes, and basic PLC programming.
• Strong logical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
