Job summary

Nestlé Indonesia in Cikarang is seeking an Operations Shift Manager to deliver line objectives by empowering teams and ensuring on‑time production in compliance with safety, quality, cost, and environmental needs. You will drive capability development and engage staff to sustain Manufacturing Excellence.

The role emphasizes safety culture, adherence to NGMP, and effective line management to meet production plans and standards.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in a functional role in the Food industry, with experience in managing and engaging/motivating people.
• Ability to positively confront and effectively deal with non-compliance.
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment through effective housekeeping and adherence to safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Safety Culture and ensure a Safe Working Environment; enforce hygiene and safety procedures.
• Ensure Semi-Finish and Finished Goods are manufactured to quality standards and instructions.
• Maintain clean and functional working areas per NGMP; organize and delegate assignments; assess team performance.
• Engage stakeholders on the line including Production Manager, Maintenance, and unions to ensure alignment.

• Lead the Safety Culture and conditions for a Safe Working Environment. Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety procedures
• Ensure that Semi Finish Good and Finished Goods are consistently manufactured according to standards of quality and relevant manufacturing instructions (compliance).
• Ensure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order including all installations in accordance to Nestlé Good Manufacturing Practices (NGMP)
• Manage Production effectively through operational reviews and use Standard Routines to ensure sustainable results.
• Organizing & delegating assignments to the team members, assessing and evaluating the work performance of the teams
• Ensure constant dialogue with relevant stakeholders (line shift teams, Production Manager, Maintenance, Unions, functional representatives on the line)

What will make you successful

• Bachelor (S-1) Majoring Food Technology or Technical/Engineering
