Job summary

PT Thermax International Indonesia operates globally with a focus on energy and environment solutions. We are seeking an experienced boiler specialist to operate and monitor boilers, steam systems, and auxiliary equipment, while maintaining safety and process reliability.

The role requires at least five years of hands-on boiler operation experience, with responsibilities spanning start-up/shut-down, water quality testing, and daily logs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in boiler operations.
• Able to monitor and control boilers, steam systems, and pumps.
• Strong focus on safety, compliance, and environmental regulations.
• Experience in water treatment and quality testing is a plus.

Job description

Operate and monitor boilers, steam systems, pumps, valves, and auxiliary equipment

Start up, shut down, and regulate boiler operations according to production requirements

Maintain proper boiler water levels, steam pressure, and operating temperatures

Conduct routine inspections and identify abnormalities or equipment failures

Monitor control panels, gauges, meters, and alarm systems

Perform water treatment and water quality testing to ensure boiler efficiency

Record operating parameters, maintenance activities, and daily logs

Perform minor maintenance and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team

Ensure compliance with safety procedures, statutory requirements, and environmental regulations

Respond to emergencies, equipment breakdowns, and abnormal operating conditions
