Job summary

PT SMART Tbk (SMART) is seeking a QA/Test Engineer to serve as a communication bridge between business teams and IT, gather issues, and manage feedback. You will perform functional, UI/UX, and workflow testing on web and mobile apps to ensure high quality, while identifying basic security concerns before launch.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and experience in application testing, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and familiarity with Python or MySQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in application testing (Automated testing is a plus).
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and basic application security concepts.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint; experience with Python or MySQL is a plus.
• Placement in Jakarta.

Responsibilities

• Act as a communication bridge between business teams and IT/Developers to gather issues, track bug resolution, and manage feedback.
• Perform application testing (functional, UI/UX, and workflow testing) on Web and Mobile applications.
• Identify basic security vulnerabilities, logic flaws, and potential bugs before systems are launched.
• Prepare clear and structured technical documentation, including SOPs, technical guides, user manuals, and test cases.
• Conduct operational data analysis and prepare performance reports for Ops & Support management.
• Utilize AI tools to optimize team workflows.
