Job summary

HTC Global Services in Karawang, Jawa Barat, is seeking an operations leader for mission-critical data center environments. You will manage L1/L2 teams, coordinate cross-discipline engineers, and ensure health and availability of power, cooling, and infrastructure.

Requirements include 5–7 years in data center operations, 2–3 years in supervision, strong ITIL knowledge, and English fluency. The role demands proactive risk management and 24x7 coverage.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in mission-critical Data Center Operations.
• 2–3 years in a supervisory or team-lead position.
• Strong knowledge of UPS, generators, switchgear, power distribution, HVAC, chillers, pumps, CDUs, and liquid-cooling systems.
• Proven experience managing 24×7 L1/L2 operations, incident management, preventive and corrective maintenance, vendor coordination, and technical escalations.
• Good understanding of SOP/MOP/EOP, Permit-to-Work, Change Management, RCA, and ITIL practices.
• Familiarity with BMS/DCIM monitoring, infrastructure redundancy, and emergency response procedures.
• Experience supporting high-density AI/HPC or GPU Data Centers and direct-to-chip liquid cooling is highly preferred.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and operational decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage L1 and L2 operations teams, ensuring effective daily operations and 24×7 shift coverage.
• Monitor facility operations, alarms, incidents, and critical infrastructure conditions to maintain service availability.
• Coordinate L1 Technicians, L2 HVAC and Electrical Engineers, IT/GPU Support Teams, and L3/OEM vendors.
• Oversee incident management, escalation, shift handovers, and operational troubleshooting.
• Ensure proper execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Manage and enforce SOP, MOP, and EOP implementation.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, work assignments, and operational resources.
• Monitor operational KPIs, team performance, and technical competency development.
• Identify operational risks and ensure timely resolution of issues involving power infrastructure, CDU/secondary-loop cooling, and environmental conditions.
