Job summary

Lewis Personnel Management seeks a high-caliber L3 Technical Subject Matter Expert (AI Compute) to serve as the senior technical authority across our high-density AI/GPU data center environments in Karawang and Jakarta, Indonesia.

As an L3 SME, you will lead complex Root Cause Analysis (RCA), manage top-tier technical escalations, automate workflows with Python and Ansible, and collaborate with OEMs to resolve architectural defects for peak AI workloads.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in AI Infrastructure, Linux Systems Administration, HPC, Kubernetes / Slurm orchestration, or Platform Engineering.
• Proficient in Python and Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Deep understanding of Slurm job scheduling, workload management, and GPU cluster orchestration.
• Proven background in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with OEM hardware escalations and vendor management.

• Technical Escalation & RCA: serve as the ultimate L3 escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents and performance bottlenecks.
• Workflow & Infrastructure Automation: use Python and Ansible to automate recurring tasks, provisioning, and lifecycle management.
• System Optimization & Reliability: assess defects, define CAPA, and set robust SLOs for capacity and performance.
• OEM & Partner Engagement: lead hardware escalations with OEMs and vendor partners.
• Onsite Leadership: provide hands-on technical support in high-density data center environments.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Escalation & RCA: Serve as the ultimate L3 escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents, performance bottlenecks, and hardware/software faults across AI/GPU compute clusters.

• Workflow & Infrastructure Automation: Utilize Python and Ansible to automate recurring operational tasks, system provisioning, and lifecycle management.

• System Optimization & Reliability: Assess architectural defects, define permanent corrective actions (CAPA), and establish robust Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for capacity and performance.

• OEM & Partner Engagement: Drive deep technical engagements and hardware escalations with OEMs and vendor partners.

• Onsite Leadership: Deliver hands-on technical support and lifecycle engineering in high-density data center environments.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in AI Infrastructure, Linux Systems Administration, HPC, Kubernetes / Slurm orchestration, or Platform Engineering.

• Core Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Python and Ansible for automation and configuration management.

  • Deep understanding of Slurm job scheduling, workload management, and GPU cluster orchestration.

  • Proven background in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), capacity planning, and performance tuning.

  • Hands-on experience with OEM hardware escalations and vendor management.

• Language Skills:

  • English: Professional Working / Full Professional Proficiency (Required).

  • Mandarin: Working Proficiency to Fluent (Strong Preference for senior technical engagements).

• Work Arrangement: Full-time onsite availability in Karawang or Jakarta, Indonesia.
