Job summary

PT Mitraindo Adi Perkasa in Surabaya is seeking an experienced Manager Operasional to lead daily operations at our Surabaya facility. This full-time role focuses on driving process improvements, managing teams, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards across all departments.

You will oversee workflow, optimize resources, monitor KPIs, and liaise with stakeholders to deliver excellent service while maintaining regulatory compliance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 8+ years of operational management experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing.
• Proven track record of leading operational teams in a complex industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Excellent understanding of safety, QA and regulatory compliance.
• Data analysis skills and familiarity with operations software.
• Strong problem-solving with focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across departments.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement new processes.
• Experience with budget management and financial planning in operations.
• Fluency in Indonesian and English; Mandarin desirable.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily operational activities and ensuring efficient workflow across all departments
• Managing and supervising operational teams, including recruitment, training, performance management and staff development
• Implementing and monitoring operational policies, procedures and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Identifying process inefficiencies and leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs
• Coordinating with production, maintenance and quality assurance teams to optimise operational performance
• Managing inventory, equipment maintenance schedules and resource allocation to minimise downtime
• Monitoring KPIs and reporting on operational metrics to senior management
• Ensuring workplace safety, health and environmental compliance across all operational areas
• Developing and managing operational budgets and cost control measures
• Liaising with clients and external stakeholders to ensure service delivery meets expectations
