Job summary

PT Mitraindo Adi Perkasa in Surabaya is seeking an experienced Manager Operasional to lead daily operations at our Surabaya facility. This full-time role focuses on driving process improvements, managing teams, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards across all departments.

You will oversee workflow, optimize resources, monitor KPIs, and liaise with stakeholders to deliver excellent service while maintaining regulatory compliance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 8+ years of operational management experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing.
• Proven track record of leading operational teams in a complex industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Excellent understanding of safety, QA and regulatory compliance.
• Data analysis skills and familiarity with operations software.
• Strong problem-solving with focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across departments.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement new processes.
• Experience with budget management and financial planning in operations.
• Fluency in Indonesian and English; Mandarin desirable.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Manager Operasional to join our team at our Surabaya facility in East Java. This is a full-time position that plays a strategically important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our industrial engineering functions. As Manager Operasional, you will oversee day-to-day operations, drive process improvements, and ensure that all operational activities align with company objectives and industry standards. What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline

Minimum 8 years of operational management experience within the industrial engineering or manufacturing sector

Proven track record of successfully managing and leading operational teams in a complex industrial environment

Strong knowledge of operational systems, lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma

Excellent understanding of industrial safety standards, quality assurance protocols and regulatory compliance requirements

Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with operational management software and systems

Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments

Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement new processes within an organisation

Experience with budget management and financial planning within operations

Fluency in Indonesian and English is highly desirable
