About the role

PT Kamadjaja Logistics is seeking an experienced Operational Manager Land Transport to join our dynamic team in Cibitung District, Bekasi, West Java. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of our land transport operations. As Operational Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of transport fleet operations, optimise logistics efficiency, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role is essential to our mission of delivering reliable and cost-effective transport solutions to our clients.

Key responsibilities

Oversee and manage daily land transport operations, including fleet scheduling, route optimisation and resource allocation

Supervise transport staff, including drivers and logistics coordinators, ensuring adherence to company policies and performance standards

Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure fleet reliability and safety compliance

Manage transport costs and budgets, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce expenses

Ensure compliance with road safety regulations, transport permits and documentation requirements

Track and report on key performance indicators such as on-time delivery rates, fuel consumption and vehicle utilisation

Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to address transport requirements and resolve operational issues

Implement and maintain safety protocols and conduct regular training for transport personnel

Analyse transport data and processes to identify improvements and implement operational enhancements

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in land transport operations or logistics management

Proven track record in managing transport fleets and logistics operations

Strong knowledge of transport regulations, safety standards and compliance requirements in Indonesia

Excellent leadership and team management capabilities

Proficiency in transport management systems and logistics software

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Ability to manage budgets and control operational costs effectively

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration or a related field
