Job summary

AYANA Komodo resort seeks a Guest Relation Officer (Boat) to warmly welcome guests, coordinate with crew, and ensure a comfortable, memorable voyage on board.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management, has 1 year of hospitality experience, and excels in interpersonal communication, guest engagement, and teamwork. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 1 year of proven hospitality experience, preferably guest-facing.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for guest and team engagement.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests during boarding and disembarking, provide orientation and answer queries about boat facilities and itinerary.
• Coordinate with crew, kitchen, and service staff to meet guest needs and assist with special requests or events on board.
• Make clear, professional announcements regarding schedules, stops, or activities and handle multilingual communication if needed.
• Gather guest feedback and report issues to management to improve service quality and guest satisfaction for future trips.
• Drive boat upselling via pre-arrival emails, check-in, and meal service occasions.
