Job summary

NEXA UNIVERSE DEVELOPMENT BALI in Badung, Bali seeks a skilled Project Surveyor for full-time, on-site work. You will conduct site surveys, maintain control points, prepare survey plans and reports, and support construction with precise measurements and documentation.

Ideal candidates will have a recognised surveying certification and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in total stations, GPS, and CAD.

Qualifications

• Qualification or certification in surveying or related construction discipline.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in construction surveying or setting out on active projects.
• Proficiency with surveying software and equipment including total stations, GPS systems and CAD applications.
• Strong knowledge of surveying practices, methods and industry standards.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Competence in health and safety practices relevant to construction environments.
• Problem-solving ability and capacity to work independently in the field.
• Flexibility to work in varying weather conditions and challenging site environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate site surveys and measurements using modern surveying equipment and technology.
• Establish and maintain survey control points and benchmarks for construction projects.
• Prepare detailed survey plans, drawings and reports for project stakeholders and management.
• Monitor and verify construction progress against approved plans and specifications.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between design specifications and on-site conditions.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and construction teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Maintain comprehensive survey records and documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
• Perform setting out activities to guide construction and ensure structural accuracy.
• Liaise with authorities and regulatory bodies regarding survey-related requirements.
• Provide technical advice and support to the project team on surveying matters.
