Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive growth in Indonesia’s power and infrastructure market. Based on-site in Jakarta, you will lead technical sales for high-voltage equipment, engage with utility companies, EPCs, and industrial clients, and coordinate with engineering and project teams to deliver complete solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/related engineering fields is required.
• 3–5 years B2B sales or sales engineering in electrical equipment/manufacturing.
• Experience with utility/EPC/industrial clients is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales processes and tenders.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities within power, utilities, EPC, industrial, mining, and oil & gas sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Deliver technical presentations and prepare commercial proposals.
• Monitor pipelines, tenders, and procurement activities for electrical infrastructure.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and project teams to ensure project success.
• Support tenders, negotiations, and post‑sales activities while ensuring quality and safety.
• Conduct regular customer visits and industry networking to identify opportunities.
